Direct water taxi rides and tours are provided by a US Coast Guard licensed captain. Captain Colby spent his childhood growing up on one of the area islands, and has many stories to share about the area. Whether you're taking a quick taxi ride, or a two-hour cruise, you're bound to hear a story or two. You'll also have a good chance at seeing some beautiful wildlife!
Choreograph a sunset dinner (or a fun lunch with the kids) at Islesford Dock Restaurant, and marvel at paradise on this small island of active fishermen. Have the captain point out the osprey, loons, and cormorants along the way. He can also show you the bins of lobster floating in the harbor. It is these very lobsters that could grace your plate today!
Enjoy your cruise aboard the 26-foot Duffy, built in 2009 on a hull fromAtlantic Boat Company in Brooklin, ME. Newman and Gray Boatyard on Cranberry Island constructed the boat with a comfortable heated cabin, as well as a spacious outdoor deck for sunny days.
